Summary

Situtated in the North East of the property, Zingela Lodge is proud to be the longest established camp at the eZulu bush camp. Set in a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains, this homely lodge has a way of creeping into your heart and is home to so many memories of our clients. Zingela is a local isiXhosa word for hunt or pursuit, and that is exactly what you will be experiencing, pursuit of adventure, pursuit of your South African heaven.

A popular camp with families, Zingela Lodge has four suites sleeping 8 adults with further available rooms in the main building. Each suite is well equipped with large bathrooms where hot showers or bubble baths are enjoyed after a long day of South African hunting.

Beautiful views from the deck will ensure you fall in love with the African sunset while sipping a craft gin and tonic or refreshingly cold beer. For the warmer days, our Zingela Lodge pool is a welcome site to keep you cool in the mid-day heat.

Return to camp at the end of your afternoon hunt and the fire will be roaring in our traditional boma, where stories are shared over one of eZulu’s Wildlife Safaris special dishes prepared by our chef for your culinary enjoyment.

The Winterberg mountain range along the Swartkei River is home to this prime Mountain hunting safari. The beautiful terrain here varies from rugged deep gorges and cliffs to flat open plains offering some of the most breath-taking sunsets and sunrises. During winter, cold conditions can be expected with snow on the high mountains. Begin your day in the flats at 4000ft where herds of blesbuck and wildebeest found in the hundreds will be your quarry of choice.
